Job Description

Total Tots Day Nursery, located in Balmoral, Morecambe, is seeking a nursery cook to work

25 -30 hours per week from 8:30am to 1:30pm hours can be flexible to suit school hours.

While no formal qualifications are required, candidates must have a passion for preparing fresh meals and snacks for children aged 3 months to 4 years.

The nursery caters to 62 children daily in a busy, lively, and friendly environment.

Responsibilities include preparing both hot and cold meals and supporting mealtimes. Successful applicants will be subject to safer recruitment vetting, including DBS checks.

Prepare and cook nutritious meals that meet dietary guidelines for children. Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and comply with food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation and presentation to create appealing dishes. Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary requirements.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person
