We are looking for a passionate and organised

Cook

to join our friendly nursery team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 6 months - 5 years.

We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. As part of our team, you'll play an important role in supporting children's health and development through nutritious, home-cooked meals.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks in line with children's dietary needs, allergies, and preferences. Ensure all food is nutritious, varied, and appealing to young children. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen in line with health & safety and food hygiene regulations. Manage stock levels, food orders, and budget effectively. Work closely with nursery staff to ensure individual dietary requirements are met. Promote a positive attitude towards healthy eating.
About You

Previous experience as a cook, ideally within a nursery, school, or similar setting. Knowledge of child nutrition and the ability to cater for allergies and special diets. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above). Ability to work independently, manage time well, and stay organised. A caring nature and commitment to supporting children's wellbeing.
