Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to oversee the operations of our nursery facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, coupled with strong leadership skills. As a Nursery Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and maintaining a nurturing environment for young learners.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the nursery, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting
- Oversee the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health/safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursery staff
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's development and progress
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise in a professional manner

Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 recognised childcare qualification and any related professional qualification (e.g. Foundation Degree, EYPS, EYTS)

-To be able to manage the Nursery in the absence of the Manager

-Paediatric first aid qualification

-Experience of leading a Nursery team in a supervisory ro

- Valid driver's license (nice-to-have)

- Strong communication skills in English

- Ability to lead and motivate a team
