We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our nursery, ensuring that high standards of care and education are maintained for the children. Duties

Assist the Manager in daily operations and management of the nursery. Supervise and support staff in providing high-quality childcare and education. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to childcare. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies regarding children's progress and wellbeing. Manage daily schedules and activities to promote a stimulating learning environment. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and educational programmes offered. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive team environment. Maintain accurate records related to children's development and nursery operations.

Skills

Strong background in childcare with experience working with children in an educational setting. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning and development. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for nurturing children's growth in a safe and supportive environment.
