We're now looking for a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our nursery and play a key role in maintaining the outstanding care and learning standards we pride ourselves on.

About the Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager and take responsibility for the setting in their absence. You will:
Lead, support and mentor room teams to deliver the highest standard of care and education - this role is not supernumerary, you will spend time in the room supporting and coaching the staff team
Maintain excellent safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS compliance
Manage staff ratios, rotas, and daily operational tasks
Oversee planning, curriculum delivery and child development tracking
Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and external agencies
Take ownership of specific areas such as EAL, SEND, or Inclusion (depending on setting needs)
Support recruitment, staff performance, and continuous professional development
Contribute to nursery marketing, occupancy growth, and parent engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For
Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years (essential)
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in an early years setting
Strong working knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding legislation
Passion for delivering high-quality early years education and team development
Excellent organisational, people management and communication skills
Commitment to inclusivity, partnership working and professional excellence
