The Role:



As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll play a vital part in our leadership team, working alongside the Nursery Manager to support the successful operation of our nursery. Your role will cover a wide range of duties, including:

Team Leadership

: Support the Nursery Manager in guiding and motivating our committed team of educators, ensuring top-quality care and learning.

Day-to-Day Operations

: Assist with overseeing nursery operations, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining high standards.

Curriculum Support

: Help shape and deliver a stimulating, creative curriculum that supports the individual development of each child.

Family Engagement

: Develop strong, trusting relationships with parents, ensuring clear and effective communication about their child's journey.

Safety & Standards

: Maintain a secure, tidy, and welcoming environment, following all health and safety policies.

About You:



We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager who is enthusiastic about early years education and brings energy, innovation, and leadership to our setting. The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications

: A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with solid knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Experience

: Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an early years environment.

Team Leadership

: Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and encourage a team.

People Skills

: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with children, staff, and families.

Commitment

: A deep passion for early years and a drive for excellence in care and education.
