This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a welcoming early years setting. You will support the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the nursery, helping to lead a dedicated team and ensure children receive high-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Nursery Manager in daily operations and staff management.
Supervise, mentor, and appraise team members.
Help plan and implement staff training and professional development.
Ensure children have access to fun, engaging, and age-appropriate experiences.
Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider team.
Support with occupancy and business targets.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Positive and approachable attitude.
