Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to lead a team effectively while ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and a commitment to fostering the development of young children.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and education. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Organise staff training sessions to ensure continuous professional development within the team.

Skills

Proven experience in managing a nursery or similar childcare setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
