Our client are opening brand-new preschool nursery, committed to providing exceptional early years education and care. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team and help shape the nursery from its very beginning.
Role Overview
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safety. You will provide leadership to the team, oversee operations, and build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a brand-new setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the nursery team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
Ensure the nursery meets all requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted standards.
Oversee planning and delivery of age-appropriate, engaging, and stimulating activities.
Manage staffing, including recruitment, rotas, training, and performance.
Take responsibility for safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management within the nursery.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the local community.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with regulations.
Manage nursery budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure the nursery achieves and maintains excellent inspection outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (Level 5 or higher preferred).
Proven experience in a nursery management or deputy management role.
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and education.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 34,000.00-40,000.00 per year
Licence/Certification:
Level 3 in Childcare & Education (preferred)
Driving Licence (preferred)
