Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our beautiful, well-established setting at Orchard Barns Nursery in Stratford St Mary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed early years professional to take on a leadership role in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

About the Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring that high standards of care, learning, and safety are consistently delivered. You will lead a dedicated team, support the development of each child, and maintain strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the nursery in line with Ofsted requirements and the EYFS framework Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing procedures are followed Oversee planning and assessment to support children's development Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community Effectively manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing levels Drive continuous improvement across the setting

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ desirable) 2 years experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy Manager Level 3 in Maths Excellent knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills A passion for high-quality childcare and child development
