Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment for children while managing staff and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years standards. Manage staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality care and education. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and providing updates on their children's progress. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare management are desirable..
