About the Role:
As our Nursery Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our setting's success - supporting your team, delighting families, and keeping everything running smoothly from registrations to ratios, and everything in between.

Your Safari Duties Will Include:
Leading, inspiring and supporting a team of passionate educators
Managing day-to-day nursery operations and upholding high standards of care and education
Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) - ensuring child protection is at the heart of everything we do
Maintaining accurate records, registers, and compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
Handling HR tasks including staff onboarding, supervisions and performance management
Working closely with families, supporting transitions and building trusted relationships
Overseeing rotas, room ratios, and efficient team deployment
Supporting with marketing and enrolment - ensuring every new family receives a warm welcome
Ensuring the nursery is always safe, clean, and adventure-ready!

Autonomy with support - work closely with our senior team and area managers We're Looking For:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5+ preferred)
Previous management or deputy experience in a day nursery setting
Confident in safeguarding with up-to-date knowledge and DSL experience
Strong administration and organisational skills - confident using systems such as EY Works, EY Manage, EY Log, EY Engage and People Bunch (or similar)
A clear, calm communicator with the ability to motivate and lead a team
A genuine passion for children's early years and a belief in play-based, child-centred learning
