Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and provide a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a solid background in early childhood education. Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices. Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, promoting professional development and teamwork. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children. Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Manage nursery budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently to ensure optimal functioning. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programmes accordingly. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both children and staff. Collaborate with external agencies as needed to support children's individual needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent). Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for attending off-site meetings or events. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
