Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, 5 days a week with option to work additional hours when available Salary: 24,000 - 30,000 per annum Location: Birmingham B32 Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Humly is currently working with one of our clients to recruit a Nursery Manager. The nursery is based in the B32 area of Birmingham. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum Level 3 in Childcare to help them continue their journey to create a fantastic, enjoyable learning experience for their children. Key Responsibilities

To ensure overall responsibility for the effective daily management of the nursery, to have a sound knowledge of all company policies, procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements, to ensure that these are maintained at all times To be a role model to the staff team and demonstrate high quality practice with regards to individual and group work with children, dealing with staff and parent issues as they arise Overall responsibility for the safety, security and wellbeing of all children, staff and visitors at all times Act as the Designated Safeguarding Person within the setting, dealing with and supporting any safeguarding issues To lead the nursery to reach Outstanding with Ofsted To complete a rigorous action plan that supports the development of areas set out in the company plan
