Nursery Manager Wanted

Tender Years Day Nursery is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations of our childcare facility.

As the Nursery Manager, you will lead a team of staff and ensure the highest quality of education and care is provided to children ages 0-5 years old.

Responsibilities:-

- Supervise nursery staff including deputy manager, practitioners and apprentices

- Oversee the plannning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities

- Track children's growth and development and prepare progress reports via the Eylog

- Communicate with parents and families regarding child development and nursery activities

- Ensure compliance with all Government, local regulations

- Oversee the Performance management of staff

- Create staff rota's via the Eylog, respond to parental messages

- Maintain a fun, safe, clean and nurturing environment for children

Qualifications:

- 3+ years management experience in a nursery or childcare setting

- ICT skills required

- Experience in SEND

- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities

- Positive and professional demeanor with a real passion for early childhood education

- Knowledge of best safety and supervision practices
