We are seeking a dedicated and preferably experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Manager wishing to join an established setting. To work closely with the Directors to produce and deliver outstanding childcare.
You will be hands on and committed to maintaining the settings very high standards
and continue to lead developments in practice and offer the highest of standards in care and education, supporting practitioners and inspiring them to deliver the nursery curriculum and to work alongside all our families using the nursery. You will have a proven track record in attaining Good or Outstanding OFSTED grade within a setting.
As Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of the setting,
following and implementing the EYFS Learning & Development requirements and Safeguarding & Welfare requirements.
You will have knowledge and experience for the HR functions of the Nursery setting,
from inductions, supervisions, training, development and performance management.
You will have the experience and skill set to assist the Directors with the Nursery's budget
to ensure profitability and business growth, including ensuring fees are paid promptly by parents.
Requirements
CACHE / NVQ Level 5 preferred. NNEB, CACHE / NVQ Level 3 minimum with Experience in Management and willingness to upskill.
GCSE Maths & English a must.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Excellent knowledge of OFSTED standards, EYFS Learning and Development and Safeguarding and Welfare requirements
DSL qualification and safeguarding experience is a must
SENCo knowledge and training beneficial.
Excellent organisational skills
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and good understanding of equal opportunities
Previous relevant supervisory experience.
