What You'll Be Doing
As Nursery Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the nursery--operationally, educationally, and financially. You'll be the driving force behind a setting that delivers outstanding care and learning every day.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily operations, including staffing, planning, budgets, and administration
Leading the development and delivery of a rich, child-centred curriculum aligned with the EYFS
Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
Supporting, mentoring, and developing a skilled and motivated team
Creating tailored learning experiences that support each child's individual journey
Managing occupancy levels and driving financial performance
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community
Ensuring the setting remains inspection-ready and always striving for improvement
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who leads with confidence and compassion--someone who brings a hands-on, proactive approach and thrives in a fast-paced early years environment.
You'll need:
A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or higher preferred)
Proven leadership experience in an early years setting, ideally as a Manager or Deputy
A solid understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills
A genuine passion for early childhood education and inclusive practice
What You'll Get in Return
We believe in recognising the value of our team and investing in their growth, wellbeing, and development.
You'll benefit from:
32 days of annual leave including bank holidays
Generous staff discount on childcare fees
Flexible working opportunities where possible
24/7 access to a virtual GP for you and your family
Health cashback on dental, optical, and physiotherapy services
Access to our employee wellbeing platform and staff discounts
Ongoing professional development, training, and clear progression routes
Staff recognition initiatives and regular celebration of achievements
