Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team at The Bridge Day Nursery. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for the children in our nursery. Located in a vibrant community, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on young lives.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Plan and deliver a high-quality EYFS-compliant curriculum that nurtures child development. Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and statutory compliance, including Ofsted standards. Lead, mentor, and support staff to maintain high-quality care and education. Communicate effectively with parents about their children's progress and nursery activities. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure efficient nursery operations. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Foundation Degree, NVQ, CACHE). Proven nursery management experience (2+ years preferred) within an Ofsted-rated setting. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Thorough understanding of EYFS and early years best practices. Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks.
