Job Summary

Northstowe Nursery is seeking a passionate and experienced

Nursery Manager

to lead our friendly and professional early years team. This is a

term-time only

position, ideal for someone looking for a rewarding leadership role with a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment Responsible for the full child registration process Responsible for social and mainstream marketing and promotion of the nursery Lead and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards through audit and training the team Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning, and care Handle budgets, resources, and administrative duties efficiently

Requirements

Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare Proven experience in nursery or preschool management Strong leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures Ability to manage a team and maintain high standards of care and education Must be computer literate and confident using digital platforms, including our in-house nursery management system (Tapestry).
