Nursery Manager - Chislehurst (Bromley)

Position: Nursery Manager

Location: Chislehurst, Bromley

Hours: Full Time

Starting Salary: 36,000 (rising to 39,000 after 6 months, and 42,000 after 18 months of satisfactory service)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and our nursery's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining the highest standards of care and learning.

Lead, mentor, and support the nursery team to foster a collaborative and professional culture.

Drive staff development, ensuring performance and professional standards are consistently achieved.

Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with families and external agencies.

Ensure the nursery is fully prepared for Ofsted inspections at all times.

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised early years qualification.

At least 3 years' experience in an early years setting.

Proven senior leadership experience within a nursery environment.

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

GCSE (or equivalent) in Math's, or willingness to gain this within 2 years of starting.
