We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our brand new nursery opening at the Guide Hut in Stoke D'Abernon in October 2025.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality childcare, and fostering a nurturing environment for children.
The Nursery Manager will be responsible for developing educational programmes, maintaining compliance with regulations, and effectively communicating with parents and staff.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
Develop and implement engaging early childhood education programmes that promote children's learning and development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, nursery policies, and any concerns that may arise.
Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community through outreach and engagement activities.
Oversee administrative tasks including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource management.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Experience
Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working directly with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
