Job Description

Are you an inspiring leader ready for your next career move? We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our beautiful setting in Emsworth, where you'll make a real impact on the lives of children and their families.

We're looking for someone who is committed to going the extra mile to ensure that children are at the heart of everything we do. You'll lead with energy and dedication, guiding a talented team to deliver exceptional care and education, making every day a positive experience for the children in our care.

About Our Nursery:

Our nursery, established in 1895, is housed in a charming building with spacious rooms and high ceilings, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. On the ground floor, our "Squirrels" and "Wise Owls" (children between 2 years and school age) enjoy a layout that allows them access to our lovely garden, supporting free play and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance.

The conservatory is a hub for creative activities like water play, arts and crafts, and physical play, offering a seamless connection between the classrooms and the garden. Outside, we have a beautiful walled garden featuring a sandpit, outdoor toys, and a children's garden patch where we grow our own organic fruit and vegetables! Our on-site kitchen prepares fresh meals, and children and staff share meals together in the conservatory, promoting a sense of community.

Lead all aspects of staffing, including recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated team. Implement systems for accurate reporting, monitoring, and maintaining high standards. Manage occupancy levels, financial budgets, and ensure targets are met.
