About Our Nursery:
20 Place Nursery (2 to 5 years)
1 x Toddler/Pre-School Room (2-3 years x 8 places) (3-4 years x 12 places)
Open: 7.30 am to 6.00 pm

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to provide safe, high quality care for early year's children, leading and inspiring our team on a day to day basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the EYFS, be organised, and have strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Also essential is a proven track record of supporting families and children with various needs including SEN, CIN & CP and the desire and skills to ensure all children achieve their full potential regardless of their starting point. To ensure all statutory, legal and setting obligations are met.

Essential Criteria:
Experience of working in a nursery setting at Nursery Management Level
Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or higher. Minimum of 5 years post qualification
Solid understanding of child development, and of children's needs.
Ability to plan and implement a curriculum, (planning in the moment) taking into account the SEN Code of Practice, child protection procedures and equal opportunities' considerations.
Ability to Demonstrate and apply detailed knowledge of current legislation relevant to the early years.
Ability to develop partnerships and work with parents and families to encourage their involvement.
Ability to effectively market the nursery to maximise occupancy levels and fee income.
Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of adults, including conducting performance management processes e.g. induction, supervision meetings, appraisals and setting objectives.
Commitment to equal opportunities and an understanding of equality and diversity issues.
Ability to communicate affectively both written and verbal including writing professional reports.
Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to manage difficult situations, solve problems quickly and make accurate decisions.
