An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a well-established, family run children's nursery.

About the Role

Ready to hit the ground running in the daily management of the setting, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are met and exceeded.

Have a love for working with children - the welfare of our children is our top priority, and you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe environment.

Uncompromising on quality - you will oversee the weekly schedules to meet the individual needs of the children and ensure that children are kept active and engaged in developmental activities.

Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with parents - as the key point of contact you will have regular communication with the parents, so high emotional intelligence and effective interpersonal skills are a must in creating a trusting rapport with the families.

A natural born leader - you are full of charisma and have an infectious, positive, can-do attitude that motivates and inspires others around you.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following...

Skills and Knowledge:

Practical knowledge of EYFS Standards, Ofsted Standards and Inspections

Understanding of Equal Opportunities/SENCO

Strong Management and Leadership skills to lead a team of 15+ staff.

Experience:

At least 5 years of professional experience in working and caring for children under 5 within a nursery environment (Essential)

Experience as a Nursery Manager of day to day management, meeting occupancy targets and budgetary oversight (Essential)

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent
