Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children alike.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development and learning in line with early years frameworks. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and wellbeing. Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in the nursery at all times. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and provide feedback to parents. Oversee staff training and development to enhance skills in childcare practices. Manage administrative tasks including record keeping, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Skills

Proven management experience within a nursery or similar childcare setting. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational environment. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive as required for nursery-related activities or outings would be advantageous.
