What is expected of you?

Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care, education and EYFS provision.

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), embedding safeguarding procedures and liaising with external agencies where necessary.

Oversee compliance with childcare regulations, health, safety and hygiene standards, including daily checks and accurate record-keeping.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers and the wider community.

Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support children's development, monitor individual progress and ensure inclusive, tailored planning.

Support children's welfare, including personal care, nutrition and well-managed outings.

Ensure confidentiality and uphold all nursery policies and procedures.

What is this employer looking for?

Proven experience as a Nursery Manager OR Deputy Nursery Manager in a nursery setting.

Minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years Education.

Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

A genuine passion for Early Years Education.
