Nursery Manager - Lead with Purpose, Inspire with Care

Your Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll inspire, support, and develop your team while ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Lead, manage, and mentor a team of early years practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare Ensure planning and curriculum delivery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Promote a positive culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous improvement Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, performance, and professional development Support enrolment, occupancy levels, and effective resource management Build strong and trusting relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and all regulatory requirements

About You

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred) Proven experience in a nursery leadership or management role Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and statutory requirements Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills A child-centred approach with a passion for delivering high-quality education and care
