Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of all children in our care. This role requires excellent management and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that encourage children's growth and development. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for all children, staff, and visitors. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursery staff to ensure high-quality care is provided. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the nursery operates efficiently.

Skills

Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
