We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in early childhood education, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires excellent communication abilities to engage with staff, parents, and children effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the nursery.
Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and attract new families.
Ensure the nursery is well-resourced, organised, and safe for all children in attendance.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare and GCSE Mathematics grade of "C"
Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a managerial role within a nursery environment.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided at the nursery.

The successful applicant will have an excellent team working ethic and will be able to bring suggestions and ideas to the setting and enhance our practice. Have excellent knowledge of EYFS, recording observations, assessment, and progress, planning next steps and individual learning plans for key children.
