We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff, ensuring a nurturing and educational environment for all.

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and leadership to foster a positive working environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Organise activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development among children. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and attract new families.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a solid understanding of child development principles. Proven leadership abilities to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of nursery operations. A passion for working with children and creating an engaging learning environment that supports their growth.
