The role is a hybrid (75% in the childcare room, 25% in the office) and focuses on delivering outstanding early years education and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee staff, activity planning, and curriculum development for ages 2-5.
Engage with parents, agencies, and internal/external nursery managers.
Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards.
Recruit, train, and support staff.
Handle regulatory admin, business development, tours, and Ofsted prep.
Deliver a tailored programme that supports SEND and curriculum goals.
Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years qualification minimum.
At least 3 years in a senior nursery role (ideally Ofsted Good+).
Strong knowledge of EYFS, Montessori, and safeguarding.
Empathetic, calm leadership style with good team management skills.
DBS check required.
