We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead an outstanding nursery in South West London. The nursery prides itself on creating a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive and take their first steps toward primary school.

We are committed to recruiting and developing highly skilled early years practitioners to meet the needs of babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
As Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and development of the nursery, including the expansion to care for children from six months upwards. You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations, financial management, staff recruitment, training, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of high-quality early years education and care
Promote nursery values to staff, parents, and children
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all staff
Maintain accurate records, including occupancy and growth data
Train and develop staff to reach their full potential
Ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Qualifications and Experience:
Full and relevant childcare qualification (Level 5 NVQ, EYTS, QTS, B.Ed. or equivalent)
Extensive experience in a childcare setting
Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS 0-5 years framework
Proven experience in a management role, including mentoring and leading staff
Knowledge of Ofsted statutory guidance, safeguarding, and child protection
Ability to implement high-quality learning opportunities
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, colleagues, parents, and external agencies
The Nursery Manager will be supported by a wider network of schools and nurseries, with regular meetings to share best practice and enhance professional development.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
