Nursery Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new purpose-built nursery in September 2025. We are looking for a confident, inspiring leader with a passion for creativity, early years education, and high-quality childcare.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the daily running of the setting for children aged 3 months to 5 years. You'll lead, support, and empower staff, ensuring outstanding care and education in line with EYFS. Creativity and safeguarding will be central to your role, as you inspire both children and practitioners while working closely with senior leadership to maintain the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a passionate team, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support. Ensure safeguarding and inclusivity, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required. Foster creativity and inspire a love of learning through imaginative, play-based practice. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community. Drive occupancy, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and high-quality records, assessments, and reports. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, reflection, and professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Level 3 in Early Years (Level 5/6 desirable). Previous management experience in a nursery or pre-school. Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding. Creative, energetic, and passionate about inspiring both children and staff. Organised, flexible, and committed to professional growth.
