The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and quality assurance of the nursery. The role requires a confident and experienced childcare professional who can lead by example, ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, and create an environment where children, parents, and staff feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
Lead, motivate, and support the staff team, promoting professional development and high performance.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and all relevant statutory frameworks.
Manage enrolment, occupancy, and waiting lists in line with business targets.
Build strong relationships with parents, maintaining open communication and excellent customer service.
Support curriculum planning and delivery in line with EYFS standards.
Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resources effectively.
Drive continuous improvement through audits, staff reviews, and team collaboration.
Working with external agencies.
Mentoring students.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (Level 5 or above preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in a management role within an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted inspection criteria.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Contract length: 24 months
Pay: 20,800.00-40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
