Nursery Manager

About the Role

As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the setting. Your role will be to drive excellence in care, education and compliance, and ensure that children are provided with the best possible start in life.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of early years professionals and fostering a strong team culture Overseeing curriculum planning and delivery in line with the EYFS framework Managing budgets, staffing levels, health & safety, and nursery compliance Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Building strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers Supporting staff recruitment, training, supervision and development

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

A full and relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in childcare or early years education Previous experience in a management or senior leadership role within a nursery setting A strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements Excellent leadership and team management skills The ability to communicate effectively with staff, children and families A positive, proactive and flexible approach to nursery leadership Eligibility to work in the UK
About the Nursery

The nursery features bright, spacious indoor rooms and two separate garden areas--one dedicated to babies and toddlers, and one designed specifically for preschool-aged children.

Children benefit from a varied and engaging curriculum, which includes learning Spanish, cooking, gardening, and construction-based play. Our team also places a strong focus on outdoor learning and community engagement, with regular visits to local shops, the library and other nearby spaces

Pay: Up to 47,000.00 per year
