Nursery Manager
to lead a well-established, Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery in the heart of Hackney.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and proactive leader to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional early years education and care, while fostering a positive, inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day running of the setting. Your key duties will include:
Leading and supporting a team of dedicated early years practitioners
Overseeing the effective delivery of the EYFS curriculum
Managing budgets, rotas, staffing, health and safety, and nursery compliance
Creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment
Building and maintaining strong partnerships with parents and carers
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
Driving continuous improvement and maintaining Outstanding standards across the setting

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Previous experience in a nursery leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A child-centred, proactive and flexible approach

Located in Hackney, our Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery provides a welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 0-5. The setting features bright, spacious rooms and two dedicated outdoor areas--one for under 2s and one for preschool children.
Our curriculum is broad and engaging, offering children opportunities to explore languages (including Spanish), cooking, gardening, and construction-based activities. We also value community connections and encourage regular local outings, including visits to the library and local shops.
