Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with parents and the community.

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development in line with early childhood education principles. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and attract new families. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Monitor children's activities to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Organise events and activities that engage children, parents, and staff in the nursery community.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications in childcare is highly desirable. Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. Ability to drive initiatives that improve nursery operations and enhance children's experiences. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth in a supportive environment.
