Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a nurturing and safe environment for children while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Lead and inspire a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster positive relationships within the community to promote the nursery's values and services. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records as required by regulatory bodies.

Experience

Proven experience in a management role within a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong background in early childhood education, with relevant qualifications preferred. Experience working directly with children, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, parents, and external stakeholders. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs related to nursery activities.
