Rock A Tots is seeking a Nursery Manager.

The nursery is situated within 10 acres of gardens within Compton Acres in Poole. Our vision at Rock A Tots is to have a welcoming, friendly, honest and respectful nursery. We expect all staff members to be proactive in their job roles and have a positive and professional manner. All staff should feel comfortable and confident in their jobs and be able to build strong relationships with the children, parents, colleagues and other professionals.

The Nursery Manager position involves ensuring that all children receive the best care possible. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with small children and a deep understanding of child psychology and child development.

Essentials skills and qualification include:



Nursery management experience A strong record of on-going training and/or professional qualifications Able to lead by example, providing the highest quality childcare, whilst providing support and leadership to the staff team Minimum full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years and Education A customer service approach, being willing to go above and beyond for families

Responsibilities include:



Day to day management of the Nursery Building strong and positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues Maintaining the highest standards of quality within the nursery Complete CPD to continuously up-skill and provide the best practice in your setting, & cascade this learning to your team Actively promote your setting to new and potential families Make sure the setting's policies and procedures are adhered to at all times Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop and flourish Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure all individual needs are met and all children are able to reach their full potential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 38 per week
