Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of early childhood education. Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff. Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the nursery. Foster positive relationships with local schools and community organisations to enhance the nursery's profile.

Experience

Proven experience in a management role within a nursery or similar childcare setting is essential. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity is required. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff, parents, and children. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel as needed for nursery activities or events.
