Nursery Manager - Lead, Inspire, Thrive



We're looking for an experienced and confident

Nursery Manager

to take the helm of a well-established and thriving early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional ready to step into a senior leadership role and make a meaningful impact on children, families, and educators alike.

As Nursery Manager, you will lead all aspects of the setting's operational and educational performance. You'll be responsible for ensuring excellence in care, learning outcomes, staff development, and compliance. With a strong team around you, you'll create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

Your Key Responsibilities



Lead the daily operations of the nursery, including staffing, planning, and administration Deliver and oversee an enriching curriculum aligned with the

EYFS framework

Maintain the highest standards of

safeguarding, health and safety

, and regulatory compliance Inspire and guide your team through effective coaching, supervision, and performance management Champion a child-centred approach, ensuring individual learning and development needs are met Monitor occupancy and financial performance, including budget and resource planning Build trusted, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community Ensure the setting is fully prepared for

Ofsted inspections

and internal quality audits

What We're Looking For



We're seeking a motivated and professional nursery leader who is dedicated to driving positive outcomes and continuous improvement across all areas of the nursery.

You will need:



A

Level 3 qualification

in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 5 preferred) Previous experience in a nursery leadership role (as a Deputy or Nursery Manager) In-depth knowledge of the

EYFS

, safeguarding practices, and

Ofsted

standards Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills A hands-on, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to child development and staff wellbeing
