About the Nursery:
This is a brand new, independent setting in the centre of Twickenham. It was established by local resident , who is an experienced primary school teacher, with a passion for child development and the magical early years. They understand the challenges parents face, juggling work and life commitments. The nursery was setup to support families by providing excellent childcare, in a conveniently located setting. They have a deep understanding of children and how they learn. It offers a professional, yet comforting environment, where children are nurtured, listened to and cared for. Their sense of well-being is prioritised in order that they can develop and grow with confidence, and are well prepared for a life of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment
Lead and support a team of Early Years Practitioners to deliver high-quality practice
Ensure compliance with all Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community
Manage staffing, budgets, and administrative tasks effectively
Promote continuous improvement and professional development across the team
Requirements of this Nursery Manager Role:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred)
Proven experience in a senior nursery role (Deputy Manager or Manager)
In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding legislation
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children's development
