Nursery Manager

to join our welcoming and dedicated team at our

Cheadle

nursery.

Location:

Cheadle

Hours:

38 hours per week

Working Pattern:

Shifts between 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and day-to-day operations of the nursery. You will work closely with staff, children, and families to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are met Build strong relationships with families, staff, and external professionals Support and develop staff through supervision, training, and appraisals Oversee administrative duties, including rotas, budgets, and compliance
What We're Looking For:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5+ preferred) Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role within early years Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills A commitment to continuous professional development and inclusion
