Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a brand new nursery team and provide a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in early childhood education, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained within our nursery setting.

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm, 7am - 7pm

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies. Manage and support nursery staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Drive initiatives that promote the nursery's values and enhance its reputation within the community. Ensure all records are accurately maintained, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments.

Requirements

Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a managerial role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their development. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare management are desirable. Ability to create positive relationships with children, parents, and staff alike.
