You will be required to lead, inspire and manage a team to provide safe, high-quality education and care for young children. To maintain a stimulating and enjoyable environment always working in line with the settings policies, procedures.

We are looking for someone who is warm and welcoming, looks to create a positive impact on others and understands the importance of narrowing the gap for children less fortunate than others through positive relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with parents and staff. The Nursery Manager will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of the children in our care.

Duties

- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.

- Manage staff performance, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.

- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and incidents.

- Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork among staff members.

Skills

- Strong background in childcare with experience in managing a nursery setting.

- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and inspire staff.

- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

- Experience working with children across various age groups.

- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
