About the Role



We are looking for a committed and forward-thinking

Nursery Manager

to lead a high-quality early years setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional to take on a senior leadership role and help shape the future of a thriving nursery.

As Nursery Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational and educational success of the setting. You will lead a dedicated team of early years practitioners, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care, strong safeguarding practice, and inspiring learning experiences for all children.

Key Responsibilities



Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Lead, motivate, and support the staff team to maintain high standards of practice Ensure all activities and planning meet EYFS requirements and support holistic development Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, staff, and families Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision, and ongoing staff development Monitor occupancy levels and contribute to effective financial and resource management Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Maintain readiness for Ofsted inspections and ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory standards

About You



Essential Criteria:



Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 5 preferred) Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting Strong working knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills A proactive, child-focused approach with a passion for quality early years education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 48,800.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
