About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and educational performance of the nursery. You will lead a team of early years professionals, promote a culture of inclusion and quality, and ensure every child benefits from a safe, inspiring environment where they can learn, grow, and flourish.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, compliant and high-quality setting Lead, support and develop a team of early years practitioners Ensure curriculum planning and delivery are in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports the wellbeing of children and staff Manage recruitment, inductions, performance reviews and training Support occupancy levels and assist with budgetary and resource planning Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies Maintain compliance with all Ofsted, safeguarding and statutory requirements
About You

We are looking for a proactive and inspiring leader who can bring out the best in their team while maintaining the highest standards of care and education. You should have:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred) Previous leadership or management experience in an early years setting Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding legislation, and health and safety standards Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills A child-centred approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and best practice The right to work in the UK
