Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee our Heathers Nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and excellent leadership skills.

You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Nursery, overseeing all aspects of operations. The successful applicant must be passionate and enthusiastic about working with children in all areas of their care, learning and development and be highly skilled and professional. You must have the ability to motivate the team and liaise with parents, Senior Managers, Ofsted and other professionals as necessary.

Duties:

Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff supervision and scheduling
Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations and educational programmes
Provide strong leadership to motivate and support nursery staff
Oversee the implementation of early childhood education curriculum
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and health & safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Level 3 in Childcare is essential. BA (Hons) or Advanced Practitioner an advantage

Minimum 2 years post- qualification experience and previous supervisory experience is essential

Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

Knowledge of health and safety legislation

Knowledge and experience of delivering OFSTED standards

Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities and inclusion

A full and relevant Maths qualification at grade 4/C (GCSE level)

Salary

The starting salary for the Manager role is 29250 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
