Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our 2-4 year old room. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, demonstrating excellent leadership skills while fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role requires effective communication with both children and parents, ensuring that each child's developmental needs are met.

Duties

Manage the daily activities and routines within the nursery room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised space for children to play and learn. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development. Monitor children's behaviour and provide appropriate guidance to promote positive interactions among peers.

Requirements

Childcare Level 3 Proven experience in childcare settings, particularly with young children. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's exploration and learning. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education is desirable.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
