Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Thornton Heath. In this pivotal role, you will lead our nursery team, ensuring high-quality care and education for the children while upholding our values of respect, creativity, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education. Develop and implement engaging educational programs based on Montessori principles. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support children's development. Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Mentor and support staff in their professional development. Collaborate with management to enhance nursery operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, particularly Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education (e.g., Level 3 or above). Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
